Made in the heart of the French Alps since 1890, the Opinel pocket knife draws its simplicity and durability from its mountain roots. Adopted all over the world, it's now a recognised design icon, handed down from generation to generation.
It remains a favourite for DIY, camping and countryside picnics. This range has a stainless steel blade and a traditional beech handle.

Stainless or carbon?
Stainless steel resists rust and needs less care, so it suits damp conditions and food prep. The Opinel Carbon Steel takes a very keen edge and is easy to sharpen, but needs drying and oiling.
Over 18s only. We will not sell knives to anyone under 18. Under UK law it is illegal to carry a lock knife, a fixed-blade knife, or a folding knife with a blade over 3 inches in public without good reason.
